"Ah? Ah!" He spun around to look at her, forcing a smile onto his face. "Nothing, nothing at all. He showed me my father..."

"..." Yuna bowed her head slightly, his frantic tone not convincing her one bit. "I see." but she wouldn't force him. "I'm glad... that you are with me."

A real smile now softened his features, as he leaned forward to give her a hug, "I'm glad too. I'm glad to be here... and to have met you."

"Will you still be here after... after this?" Yuna stammered.

A heavy silence fell upon them, before Rikku bounced in. "Hey you guys, hurry up! Wakka's getting impatient!" she chirped, before leaving them alone again.

"... Yes. I will." I'm sorry for lying...

"You're not going." Shuyin said determinedly. "Are you?"

Lenne sat on her bed, face turned away from her lover. A single tear fell from her eyes, dropping onto the sheets, before she quickly wiped the rest from the corner of her eyes. "I'm... I'm sorry, Shuyin." She spoke softly, before turning around to quickly reassure him. "But I'll be alright! With you, with you, to protect me... It's going to be alright... You won't stop me," she paused, before continuing again. "would you?"

Shuyin stared at Lenne, heart heavy in his chest. For her to enter the war... She was as good as dead. "... I... I won't..."

Lenne smiled sadly, as Shuyin hugged her tightly. "Thank you..."

"I love you," Shuyin pushed her away so she could see his face. "and i'll protect you with my life." Even if it means that I'll have to kill and maim anyone to keep you out of the war... I'm sorry Lenne... but... I'll never let them kill you!

"The sky is beautiful here," Yuna whispered, awed by the majesty of the Holy Land. "... Did your home look like this?" Little bubbles of memories flowed around them, of the summoners and guardians before them. And of Jecht, her father, and Auron.

Tidus was silent, as he stood upon the small hill, looking out upon the ruins that had been his home, 5000 years ago. He was... a memory. Like the memories of the summoners he had seen. "Yes."

Yuna frowned, sadness welling up in her heart. Tidus... Tidus was as determined as ever, but... his smiles are so forced... Why... why is she the only one who could see it?

"Why the long face?" Tidus grinned, poking her cheek. "We're here, and Sin's gonna lose! I said I'm not going to let you die, and that's a promise!"

Tears formed in Yuna's eyes, as the memory faded away. But you never said that you were to die...

"After the war, let's get married, okay?" Shuyin suddenly spoke, an earnest smile lighting up his grim face.

"Ah..! How could..." Lenne blushed a crimson red. "how could you ask that in front of all our comrades?"

"So you can't say no," Shuyin grinned, returning his buddy's thumbsup and went down on his knee, producing a ring out of nowhere. "Will you marry me?"

"Incorrigible!" Lenne giggled, "Yes, yes I do." she smiled, putting the ring on her finger. If the day will ever come...

"I'm going to destroy Spira, and the both of us will fade away together, Lenne." Shuyin smiled, looking down at Yuna.

"But you can't! I'm not Lenne! Spira is our home! Why?!" Yuna tried to break away from his grip.

"Because Spira... Spira killed you Lenne." Shuyin frowned. "and I'm going to take revenge. Nothing you say is going to stop me now, Lenne. Wait for me." Shuyin whispered, hugging her tightly before he disappeared, leaving Baralai, clueless in his place.

An overwhelming sadness hijacked Yuna's thoughts, and the only thing that came to mind was... "I never said I loved him... I never... I'd never said goodbye..."

"Yuna, be safe!!! Don't worry about me!" Tidus yelled, waving at her from his place with the eight fayths, his father, and guardian by his side. "I won't forget you!"

"You too... YOU TOO!" Yuna screamed from the deck of the airship. "I HOPE YOU WIN IN ALL YOUR BLITZ TOURNAMENTS! BE SAFE!" her voice wavered as the fayth and her guardians turned to leave. "... be safe..."

Rikku ran forward, and screamed something at Tidus, but Yuna was too absorbed in her thoughts to care, only looking up when she patted her on her back in a comforting action. "He'll be alright... He's strong... and he's with Auron... You... you will be alright too."

Yep, Talos application went through.
So i'm well on my way to total TFF domination~
