Axis Powers Hetalia - What is it?

History. XD though slightly bit skewed to the BL side of course.
Anywayx, all the countries involved with WW2 are depicted as smexy guys with attitude. XD
Its set in ww2, and well, it did give rise to a lot of controversy due to its provocative political backlash... What with Japan (smexy smexy Japan) raping China, (makes for good yaoi) in one of its many fanarts.

Anyway, give it a shot, even if you are not a BL fan. You'll be rooting for Ita-chan and Holy Roman Empire before looong! Britain and England are dicks however, and Prussia is just... weird. France looks like one of the bad guys of reborn (6 funeral wreaths which looks like a cross between Stark and Shunsui). America is so cute (hamburgers can cure his fever!) and Austria is a brat (stupid idiot bullied Ita!). Cute North Ita is cute North Ita. Scary Stalker Holy Roman Empire is scary stalker Holy Roman Empire. Russia looks dumb. Hong Kong and China makes me go "D'awww" and so on. You get the fandom, yes? XD

Actually. Scrap the Clown part. I'd rather my court jesters. They may seem the same, but they really, really perform different functions in society.

Court Jesters used to be a sort of important people in courts in the past.
As "The Fool", they were allowed to speak about controversial issues to the king, and despite their name, they require more brains then a mere fool, for despite their heightened status, punishment can still be meted out by an offended royalty. Tough job much?
The jester, or rather, The Fool, is the first card of the tarot. And contrary to popular belief, The fool does not represent stupidity, but rather, reckless bravery, innocence, truth, etc. Jesters are often symbolic of common sense and honesty, alongside with bravery to speak out, or to take actions.

That said, the Jester was a noble, but dangerous job. D'awww...
