DAISUKE KISHIO!!!!

If i had any song to describe my feelings right now, "York of Love" or "Harmonics EOLIA - / Singing Hills - Harmonics EOLIA".

Both songs are worth your time even though you may not like japanese songs...
Although i don't know what they actually mean(yet), its pretty soothing.
Actually, most of the songs of the AR TONELICO ost is nice.
Discounting the red magic hymns of course.

Both Ar Tonelico AND Mana Khemia are coming out with their sequels(el) these year and next respectively.

Ar tonelico 1 & 2 is greatly recommended for those looking of a (not so) quick game with great music.
Despite the not so cute (& stiff) sprites, its background is a win, and so is the 'DIVE' system.
The characters are beautiful and so is the story.
For the non RPG lovers, and music lovers, this is a game made of win.
For the RPG lovers, the first may not come as much of a surprise, just a tweak on the gameplay coupled with the 'BURST' system unique to gust (well, it was ONCE unique...).
The second one features new battle choices, and a host of new reyvatails and characters.

A thumbs up for people who can't get enough of good music and love rpg!
Afterall, its the only game of its sort that focuses on music as a means of battle! XD

On the other hand, Mana Khemia can get slightly repetitive after a few plays.
No wait, make that one.
The only reason that its got me going is that, each character has its own ending, and since gust was able to bring out every character's growth well, i AM replaying it another 6 times to get the other 6 endings.
Plus my 2 secret dungeons and the rest of the recipes. = .=;;;
The only thing that sets it apart from the rest of the Atlier Iris series is that...

You have to search for every single different ingredients to SYNTHESIZE items in the game.
This makes up a large proportion of the gametime, since leveling up does not exist.
This is done through synthesising and the usage of AP, similar to that of FFX and FFXII.
Which frankly, is a pain in the ass, btw.
At least 78% of your time is spent hunting for ingredients.
And the daytime/nighttime thing is just a needle in your backside, literally.

But despite the faults... = .=;;;
Mana Khemia has a really nice storyline that had me guessing for the first few chapters, and crying for the last few.
It is touching in some ways, and the character endings,
Eg. Muppy's where i think we're finally going to find out if he returns home and finds his uncle.

Really.
If you don't like RPG at all, i suggest you give MANA KHEMIA a miss, despite its nice storyline and all.
Its just not worth your time.
At least you wouldn't get stuck playing it all over again for 6 times just to see all the character endings.
